GROUND OPERATIONS DEVELOPMENT
Guardians: Concealed Carry Deployment II
The use of a firearm is the last resort for volunteer church security team members when addressing a hostile and potentially deadly threat. Under such circumstances it is highly probable the ability to move rapidly and continue to do so throughout the encounter will be required until the threat is no longer present.
The ability to shoot accurately while simultaneously moving is difficult yet essential. This course is designed to expose the student to concepts that promote swift movement while delivering accurate fire.
During this course the student will be challenged with reloading under stress, moving off the “X” position, shooting from various positions, shooting will moving, and exposed to the theories of “cover” verses “concealment”.
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of these and other concepts while delivering accurate rounds on target.
